Chris began his electrical career in 2007, working for Ickler Electric and joined the Associated Builders and Contractors Electrical apprenticeship program in 2008. He began independently managing multiple projects by his 4th year of apprenticeship and graduated from ABC with high honors. In 2012, he was the San Diego Electrical Craft Champion and was a top 10 finisher at the National Craft championships. He was promoted to Foreman within his 1st year of state certification and has completed numerous successful Healthcare, TI and new construction projects. Chris was one of the first 300 CA state certified T24 Acceptance Test Technicians and has an in-depth knowledge of advanced lighting controls. As a Project Manager, Chris is a natural leader in organization, planning, scheduling and execution as well as highly effective in managing ongoing quality control and assurance. He is a clear and concise communicator and holds himself and team to a high level of accountability.
Chris attended Palomar College from 2002-2004, Oral Roberts University in 2005, Chico State University in 2006, ABC from 2008 - 2012 and the Project Management Certification program at UCSD from 2014 - 2017.
Chris is married to Tarah Sweeney with whom he has 3 children. Tarah is a nationally recognized photographer and Click University instructor. In their spare time the Sweeney’s enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, biking and spending time in the water or at the beach.
